Chapter Leadership
Iris is a 2001 graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law and is a practicing attorney. She currently serves as the Director of Constituent Services at Disability Rights North Carolina in Raleigh, where she leads advocacy and outreach efforts on behalf of people with disabilities across the state.
Her leadership is grounded in servant leadership and guided by faith. She begins each day with prayer and reflection, striving to lead with integrity, transparency, and fairness.
God-centered living, family, sisterhood, and community service are her daily motivations and the foundation of her work.
Iris is married to her college sweetheart, Joseph Green Jr., and they have shared 37 years of marriage. They are the proud parents of two adult children, Lt.
